Bracelet Type Aluminum Anode
The pipes submerged in seawater are protected from corrosion using specific aluminum anodes called "bracelet" for their particular shape.
These anodes, assembled as two half-shells, fit the pipe as a bracelet and, according to the method employed to match the two half-shells, are divided into bolted anodes, welded anodes and hinged anodes. The electrical continuity between the anode body and the pipe is allowed by a steel continuity bar or by an electrical cable.
Bracelet type aluminum anodes were designed as per the standard of ISO,NACE,DNV,utilization ratio is more than 0.80.
